Raúl Bustos has made a short stay at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona during the month of September.
Dr. Raúl Antonio Bustos González, as the director of the doctorate program at the University of Tarapacá, in Chile, has done a short stay at the Autonomous University of Barcelona from September 11th to 23rd. The purpose of the stay was to share experiences in research and common interests and to plan future work on the problems investigated.
The visiting doctor has focused his research on ethnicity, transnational migrations and border studies. His research career began with his doctoral training. Dr. Raúl Antonio Bustos González did his doctoral thesis, entitled “Academic adaptation strategies in immigrant students of elementary and secondary schools in the city of Arica”, at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, under the direction of Joaquín Gairín Sallán.
