Innovation experiences conference
On 1st July has taken place the 1st International Conference on Innovation Experiences in the field of learning differences in Sant Cugat.
Teachers Diego Castro and Joaquín Gairín are involved in the design and implementation of a Project on learning differences within the framework of the 1st International Conference on Innovation Experiences in the field of learning differences, which has been held on 1st July at the Teatre-Auditori of Sant Cugat del Vallès.
During the Conference, there have been several conferences about learning differences to share successful international experiences in developing methodologies, diagnosis protocols and treatment of learning differences.
The project, a collaboration between the Ricardo Fisas Foundation, the Educational Department of Generalitat de Catalunya and the Sant Cugat’s Council, will be implemented in September in 6 schools of the city. During the implementation of the pilot project, there will be trainings to provide teachers with tools to deal with cases of students with learning differences such as ADHD or dyslexia, in order to reduce school failure.
If the project is successful, it’s intended to extend it to other schools in Catalonia in the coming years.
