Condolences

Professor Manuel Lorenzo, EDO-Granada promoter, died unexpectedly today July 5. We inform such sad news while we moved our feelings of support to the family and friends.

The EDO community mourns for the first time since its incorporation and does a friend to accompany appreciated as an excellent professional. He will present at the wake installed in Room 4 of the cemetery of San José de Granada. The funeral will be held on Monday 7th at 10.00 pm in the chapel of the cemetery itself.

Manuel Lorenzo, Teacher, Educator and Doctor of Science in Education, from 1993 was Professor of Education and School of the University of Granada. Throughout his professional and academic career, he has served educational activities in primary, secondary and university also and assume leadership positions in schools, the Normal School of Teachers of Granada, director of ICE UGR, director, in three occasions DOE Department of the UGR and group director AREA Research at the same university. Author of more than twenty books, some as sole author and others in joint authorship, as well as nearly two hundred items. His main research is focused on the processes of change in schools, response to diversity in Secondary Education, draft external evaluation and knowledge management network.
