CRiEDO obtains external financing for the development of the project "University and Intergenerational Learning".

On September 1, the definitive resolution was published by which the aid corresponding to the call for R + D + i projects of the Ministry of Science and Innovation was granted within the framework of the state program of projects aimed at the challenges of society.

CRiEDO obtained a new financing channel of € 41,140.00 (Ref. PID2019-107747RB-I00) to implement the project "PRUNAI - University and Intergenerational Learning". 21 researchers from the universities participate in it: Complutense de Madrid, University of León, University of Granada, Pablo de Olavide University, University of Barcelona, ​​University of Valencia and Autonomous University of Barcelona. The project will be coordinated by David Rodríguez and Diego Castro from EDO UAB.

Based on the accumulated experience and results obtained in previous research projects, as well as the current state of research on teacher professional development and intergenerational learning in university organizations, this research aims to answer the following question: What do teachers learn and how do teachers learn? from other colleagues of different ages and generations?

The results obtained should not only allow us to understand in greater depth the development of intergenerational learning in our universities, as well as its link to informal, organizational learning and knowledge management, but they should also provide guidelines and tools that facilitate decision-making. decisions and allow the effective development of intergenerational learning proposals in universities, desirably contributing to an improvement in their operation and, ultimately, to an increase in the quality of our higher education system.
