Informal Learning Seminar

In the framework of an R&D project “I-CEDU: Analysis of organizational and informal learning procedures in schools. Validation of technological proposals for organizational and professional development. "(EDU2014-56070-P), funded by Economy and Competitiveness Minister, EDO-UAB celebrated an open seminar for debate about “Informal Learning in educational centers” in the BoardRoom of the Educational Sciences Faculty of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. The seminar had as a main objective, analyzing processes of producing, identifying and assessing related to informal learning in educational centers.

In the context of the seminar, Isabel Cantón, Professor of Didactics and School Organization in University of Leon, gave a conference named “Experiential learning in the framework of teacher’s Practicum”, presenting the preliminar results of a research developed in the Grade of Nursery Education.

In the seminar, not only EDO-members related to the research participated but also students from Master’s Degree and PhD Program did it. These were the ones who share their opinions and thoughts about different questions such as: “What and how teachers learn, how can we boost informal learning with teachers, how can we profit from informal learning for developing an organization”, among others. The ideas that emerged from the debate between the attendants will help to develop the tools of the research..
