II Pedagogical Days of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria

On July 17 and 18, the Polytechnic of Leiria hosted its II Pedagogical Days, where the Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and EDO's director, Joaquín Gairín, carried out the inaugural conference under the theme " Program and evaluate by competences". This plenary session, which took place at the beginning of the conference, gave the starting shot of the event.

Specifically, the meeting took place in the auditorium of the Faculty of Health Sciences (ESSLei) of the institute. The aim of the activity was to promote the exchange of experiences and the debate and reflection on the teaching and learning processes. In this way, it was promoted the adoption of new methodologies as well as the academic success of the students of the center.

During the two days, through various plenary sessions, there were exchanges of practices and workshops with the aim of developing work on different topics ranging from problem-based learning, learning assessment and the interaction between academic and professional contexts.
