Georgeta Ion participates in ICSEI 2024

Professor Georgeta Ion presented the EIPSI project, co-financed by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program at the ICSEI 2024 Congress held in Dublin.

On Tuesday, January 9, the coordinator of the EIPSI project, Georgeta Ion, presented the project through the conference titled “Teachers and school leaders perceived the benefits, costs and importance of research-based educational practice for inclusion : knowledge of Catalonia, Poland and England” together with professors Marta Kowalczuk-Waledziak and Chris Brown at the CSEI 2024 Congress held in Dublin. The EIPSI project is co-financed by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program.

The article examines the engagement of teachers and school leaders in research-based educational practice that supports inclusive education. It refers to the use of academic research by teachers and school leaders to inform their teaching methodologies, decision-making processes, leadership approaches, and continuing professional development.

The EIPSI project aimed to design, prototype and test innovative solutions for teachers and stakeholders (such as educational counselors, inspectors, public administrators, delegates) to improve equity and inclusion of students through the use of evidence-based practices.
