FPU Fellowship for developing a PhD Thesis
Education Ministry has opened a call for 800 fellowships for developing a PhD thesis in a Spanish University.
The call for 800 fellowships announced by Education, Culture and Sport Ministry will start next 13th of January and will finish on 6th February 2015 for requesting a fellowship for developing a PhD thesis in a Spanish University. This call is addressed to those students that are already enrolled in a PhD program in this school year 2014-2015 in any of knowledge areas without any kind of distinction. The students selected will feature a monthly payment during 4 years. The first two years, they’ll receive 1025€ and the last two years will increase to 1.173€; including 14 payments every year.
For those who want to apply to FPU fellowship for developing their doctoral thesis in an Education field, linked to the specialty “Development and management of organizations to change”, they must contact with EDO Group through edo@uab.cat and they have to include a motivation letter and their curriculum vitae. This fellowship is incompatible with other grants with the purpose of training PhD candidates. For submitting the application, it should be done by electronic signature at the Ministry electronic site (https://sede.educacion.gob.es/portada.html).
The selection process of the candidates will consist of two stages. The first stage, it will be selected 2400 candidates, based on their GPA balanced depending on their ANEP area. The second stage will evaluate these 2400 candidates, based on their report of the training project including their thesis theme, the candidate’s Curriculum Vitae, the director’s Curriculum Vitae and the last 5 years of scientific background of the research group where the candidate will be part of.
