Gemma París, a researcher at CRiEDO, is currently undertaking a three-month research stay in the city of Bath (United Kingdom), as part of the Senior Mobility Research Stay Grant from the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. This stay focuses on the analysis of the educational and cultural project Forest of Imagination (FOI), led by Bath Spa University with Dr. Penny Hay as the principal investigator.
Since 2014, Forest of Imagination has annually transformed public spaces in Bath into creative environments open to the entire community. The project, driven by Bath Spa University, Grant Associates, and House of Imagination, promotes collaboration among artists, scientists, educators, and students to create inclusive and free artistic installations and workshops. These initiatives revolve around themes such as biodiversity, nature, and sustainability, and align with the values of the New European Bauhaus and the European Green Deal.
During her stay, researcher Gemma París is working on the following objectives:
- O1: Analyze the Forest of Imagination educational innovation program in relation to the New European Bauhaus.
- O2: Evaluate the impact of the FOI25 project on children and young people.
- O3: Design a prototype of an interdisciplinary educational project (science-art-education) to be implemented in Barcelona.
