The purpose of the project has been conducted to identify the problems and causes of intolerance in school sport by conducting a field study in various regions of Spain.
The analysis of the situation, which started with collecting quantitative and qualitative data, was proceeded to develop a proposal for a code of behaviour for school sports competitions, which is distributed for educational use in schools, federations, clubs and sports associations. It must be pointed out that the study focuses on compulsory education (6 to 16 years).
The code of behaviour can not solve the problem itself, but it encourages training and development processes, attitudes and values we all expect to be presented in sport; in addition, the rejection of all those violent attitudes that both athletes and the public that attends sport events have manifested on occasions .
It is important to emphasize on active participation into the project of members from the University of Granada, the University of Castilla y León and the University of Lleida.
