ETFU project ” Empowering the Future” in Barcelona
ERDISC Research Group in Barcelona organizes the meeting of the project " Empowering the Future : Youth, Arts and New Media " 16 to October 18, 2013 .
The meeting intends to carry out the closure of the project and reflect on the results of the various experiences of action research with youth in five different cities in Europe : Antwerp , Amsterdam , Berlin - Potsdam , Ostrava and Barcelona.
The venue of the meeting will be the Civic Center " Llimona " As appropriate framework of artistic experiences and recreational youth and trainers of Catalonia . ERDISC team , led by Dr . Miquel Angel Essomba , participates in the project with the development of a Virtual Learning Community for Young called " Kabua 2.0 " , designed especially for the development of youth empowerment processes in active social participation .
This project involves several teachers and staff of the Department of Applied Pedagogy : Katia Wells , Anna Tarrés , Josep Guardiola , Berta Esposito , Mary Hague , among others.
