Equity in Ibero-American universities
Presented a preview of the regional study on the development of equity in Ibero-American universities a few days ago.
On 24th February, a preview of the 'Regional study on the development of equity in Ibero-American universities', carried out within the framework of the Oracle Observatory, was presented at the Universidad Especializada de las Américas.
During 2021, the study asked different groups (faculty, students and administrative staff) about the functions of the university (teaching, research, connection with the environment and institutional management) on a scale of four options that represent stages of organizational development with relation to the quality of equity that is defended and applied.
They have received 46 universities from 15 countries, there are 9889 valid questionnaires and the general report is currently being prepared and the own data is transferred to the different universities. The first data confirm the reliability of the instrument used, the different perceptions of the sectors on the development of the quality of equity and also differences when university functions are considered
