Engineering and Teamwork

On October 23th, Diego Castro and Ana Díaz coordinated a virtual workshop within the framework of the ASCENT project.
This virtual workshop, which was organized by TEC Campus Saltillo, was aimed at all students of automotive engineering. He focused on teamwork and how to improve skills. They dealt with topics such as the similarities and differences between groups and teams, the phases in group development, leadership as a key factor in the work team, and the conditions for building effective teams.
The development of the seminar is part of the promotion and dynamization activities of the "ASCENT Network", which aims to become a strategic partner of the automobile industry to be able to satisfy the needs of the market, providing future engineers with the appropriate skills and competencies. and support their development. All partners and members of the network also benefit from the growing international collaboration. Through the activities of the network, the aim is to have a positive impact on various entities related to the automobile industry and / or universities and students.
ASCENT is a project financed under the Erasmus + Capacity Building program of the European Union, with a global budget of € 992,525, and coordinated by FH Joanneum, with the following universities participating as partners: FH Joanneum (Austria); Hochschule Aalen (Germany); South National University (Argentina) and National University of La Plata (Argentina); Universidade de São Paulo - Polytechnic School and Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil); ITESM Monterrey - Campus Saltillo and Universidad Iberoamericana Mexico City (Mexico); AVL List Gmbh and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
