The EDO-UdL group publishes an article in Bordón magazine

Patricia Silva, Isabel del Arco and Òscar Flores analyse about the formation of school directors in Catalonia.
The pedagogy magazine Bordón has published an article with Patricia Silva, Isabel del Arco and Òscar Flores as a writers, representing the EDO-UdL group. Specifically, the article is called 'The formation of school directors in Catalonia. Lessons learned in five years for the Direction's Decree’.
In this article the authors refer to the requirement of a specific formation to carry out the management function. In this sense, the executive role demands more and more the development of professional competencies that respond to the current challenges of society.
Therefore, it is valued that managers cover much more about the organization and management of school centers, but they also if they dominate conflict resolution, human resources management or emotional management.
The article identifies the importance of defining training programs that respond to the functions and responsibilities of executives. For example, as the authors defend, the inclusion of the use of telematics, as well as the resources and tools related to e-learning and b-learning, today become fundamental tools in the practice of training.
