ECER 2015

ECER 2015 “Education and Transition. Contributions from Educational Research” will take place in the University of Corvinus (Budapest – Hungría) from 7^th to 11^th of September 2015.  

As usual, a wide representation of EDO members will participate in the Congress presenting contributions related to research studies that are being developed nowadays in the framework of their different work lines. Thereon, the contributions that will be presented are:



Oral Presentation: Exclusion factors in Latin American Higher Education: a university governing board perspective. Presented by Diego Castro, David Rodríguez-Gómez and Joaquín Gairín.

Oral Presentation: Analyzing Peer- Feedback in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education: An Exploratory Study in Educational Sciences. Presented by Aleix Barrera-Corominas, Georgeta Ion, Diego Castro-Ceacero, Marina Tomàs-Folch and Maria del Mar Duran-Bellonch.

Oral Presentation: Competencies-based assessment in Higher Education: the opinion of teachers and academic coordinators. Presented by Georgeta Ion, Maite Fernandez-Ferrer, Juana-María Tierno-García and Elena Cano.

Oral Presentation: Transfer of Learning acquired through communities of practice and blended learning activities. Presented by Aleix Barrera-Corominas.

Oral Presentation: Transitions between home and school. Parental involvement for boosting school achievement of children at risk in disadvantaged neighbourhoods in Barcelona. Presented by Miquel Àngel Essomba, Anna Tarrés, Maria Faig and Meritxell Argelagués.

Likewise, PhD Georgeta Ion will participate as a speaker in a Simposium “Knowledge Mobilization in Education”, where other teachers from different European universities will participate too: Sara Bubb, Janice Tripney, Tim Cain, Romita Iucu, Tanya Ovenden-Hope, Linda la Velle, Lars Qvortrup, Olivier Rey and Marie Gaussel.
