DIOE Meeting

The Department of Didactics and School Organization of Universidad de Castilla la Mancha organized the meeting of University Coordination School Didactics and Organization, whose objective was to improve visibility the action of the group and to keep the commitment with academic progress of professionals from this area.

This was an opportunity to reflect and analyse the problems that we are facing related to training, promotion, research, accreditation, assessment, professional profiles, emergent competencies and teachers’ professionalization.

To that end, they worked in 5 Work Tables where the following topics were developed:

Table 1.- Training and promotion of DIOE teachers (Juniors itinerary, training, accreditation, research and publications).
Table 2.- Professional profiles, professional competencies, emergent contexts of professionalization professionals, (labor integration, employability…).
Table 3.- Training design of Degrees, proposal of 3+2, adjustment to emergent professional fields (educational policies, curricular planning, particular models for Practicum, theoretical training in degrees…).
Table 4.- Area, identity, common contents and field subjects, according to the Degree: didactics, organization, special, ICT and teachers.
Table 5.- LOMCE and the State Pact for Education. Changes that these enhance, opinion and points of view. Present and future of education.

Carme Armengol, EDO-UAB member, participated in the activity as a Chief of DIOE Area of the Applied Pedagogy Department of UAB.
