CUADOE coordination meeting

On Friday, May 20, several members of the EDO group of the Autonomous University of Barcelona participated in the annual meeting of the University Coordinator of the Didactics and School Organization Area, which was organized by those responsible for it with the collaboration of the Department of Applied Pedagogy of the UAB , which acted as the venue for the meeting.

The meeting served to recover the operating dynamics prior to the pandemic situation, and to advance its position and plan future actions in the following areas:

• Reform to improve the teaching profession. Implications for the area.
• The reform of the study plans. Implications for the area.
• The accreditation and promotion of the teaching staff of the Area.
• Position against some proposals for the elimination of knowledge areas.
• Future of the Branches and Fields of Knowledge, advancing in a new Line of Transversality of knowledge and training processes.
• Transfer and dissemination in scientific publications. Journals

The meeting was attended by a large representation of Spanish public universities, including U. Rovira i Virgili, U. Nacional de Educación a Distancia, U. Autónoma de Madrid, U. de Valencia, U. University of Santiago de Compostela, University of Coruña, University of the Basque Country, University of Zaragoza, University of Granada, University of Lérida and University of Rey Juan Carlos.

The participants of the meeting agreed to continue working on the lines of action initiated and in a new meeting that will take place in 12 months.
