Completion of the master in education

On July 15, 16 and 17, the Final Master's Projects (TFM) in Education, Didactic Specialty of Mathematics, were presented, and the last magisterial lecture by Professor Jordi Deulofeu was held.

The training program will allow 34 secondary school teachers, five of them pending final installments, to be titled from the Panamanian educational system, in a collaboration between the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (SENACYT) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), managed by the EDO-Services Services Laboratory.

The second course of the Master started on July 22, 2019 and has included the development of 8 training subjects and the completion of the TFM. The subjects studied have been 'Organization of the educational center', 'Educational research', Educational innovation ', Current issues in didactics', Research in Didactics of mathematics ', Models and research techniques in didactics of mathematics' , Documentary sources in Didactics of Mathematics' and 'Innovation in Didactics of Mathematics'. The realization of the TFM has COUNTED with a personalized Tutorial Support of 8 months and the Collaborative Support of Companions of the training group, thus allowing to overcome the limitations that the current pandemic has imposed.

7 professors from the Department of Didactics of Mathematics and Experimental Sciences and from the Department of Applied Pedagogy have participated in the UAB portal; In addition, 2 professors from Panama and several collaborators from SENACYT participated. We are talking about an intense Collaboration that has been maintained and applied in various Training Agreements that have been carried out for more than 10 years.
