EDO-UAB has participated in the 4th ASCENT Training Module 

The training activities linked to the ASCENT project, which have been coordinated by the UAB, come to an end with the development of the 4th training module, developed at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), from 6th to 9th of May. The development of the project "ASCENT - Centres of Competence for Automotive Engineering and Sales Management to increase the positive impact on regional economic development in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico" seeks to close the current gap between the needs of the labour market and educational offers supporting the IES in the advancement of their knowledge in automotive engineering and sales, for which they have promoted the realization of the so-called work packages, days to meet and discuss the topics of interest.

Within the framework of the project, EDO-UAB has collaborated in the implementation of work package 2, linked to the development of a training plan for teachers of the Latin American universities participating in the project. It also leads the work package 5, whose purpose is to ensure the quality and traceability of the different phases of the project.

The theme of the fourth work package was the Development of Capacities: "Improvement of technical skills", in which teachers from the Hochschule Düsseldorf and FH Joanneum Graz participated as teachers. Aleix Barrera, Project Manager of the EDO Group - UAB, will coordinate the activity "Next steps: the implementation of the internal trainers of workshops", the objective of which is to prepare the workshops that the partners should implement in their universities in the coming weeks.
