L’organització i gestió de centres educatius. Material didàctic per a la docència universitària

The material presented here has been prepared by teachers (Carme Armengol, Diego Castro, Maria del Mar Duran, Mònica Feixas, Miquel Àngel Essomba, Joaquín Gairín, Marita Navarro and Marina Tomás) who have been teaching, practically from the beginning, the different subjects in the field of organisation and management of educational institutions at the Faculty of Education Sciences at the UAB.
The text presents a list of real cases related to aspects of the organisation and management of educational institutions. The aim of this material is to serve to develop, through the resolution of the case presented, the competences and contents of the programmes of the different subjects in their field of action. The text is accompanied by an explanation of how we understand that the methodology of the case should be worked on and information regarding the contents.
Through the presentation of real cases, students are able to develop skills such as analysis and critical thinking, decision making between different options and the use of assumptions. Oral expression, personal interaction and creativity are also encouraged. The cases presented also create an environment of exchange and relationship between theory and practice and help to foster a type of teaching based on motivating and cooperative learning in line with current trends in the European Higher Education Area.
