The aim of this publication is to help teachers and other professionals in vocational training centres, technical colleges and professional internship centres in developing quality. In this regard, the first part contains reflections and practices from various European vocational training systems, with special reference to the Spanish context; in the second part, guidelines and examples related to quality improvement. The aim is both to provide foundations and tools for action.

The function of the QualiVET Quality Development Framework (MDC) materials presented here is to provide teaching groups in training institutions with the necessary auxiliary means to enable them to improve the quality of learning processes. The spirit of the Quality Development Framework is to conceive teachers and instructors as key figures in quality improvement. With this theoretical guide, they can adapt both the structural quality indicators and the concept of a team directly and according to their specific areas.
