The content developed in this guide seeks a balance between the basic information to interpret the proposal and the examples that can serve as a complement to the ideas expressed. In this way, the first two chapters, dedicated to situating the area of Social Sciences and clarifying the concepts linked to assessment and assessment by competences, are completed with a third chapter that collects the proposals on the subject carried out in the area, and two more dedicated to presenting a step-by-step evaluation procedure, with an example included, and orientations for the contextualization of the guide that allow the different contributions to be translated into concrete and contextualized proposals based on ‘some of the keys that are provided.
