The aim of this work is twofold: on the one hand, to make known the importance of the external and internal elements that intervene in the act of writing. To emphasize the total body posture and the position of the trunk, arm, forearm, hands and fingers in relation to the axis of the paper; to raise the decisive role of speed, rhythm and pressure in high calligraphic quality, without forgetting the influence of graphic movement.
On the other hand, to highlight the plan of specific techniques for each of the stages of the writing process. It has already been said previously that there was no study of the major methodological contexts in this work. We have replaced them with the study of the techniques, which are more practical and at the same time guarantee variety and change in the learning exercise. In other words, the techniques allow for methodical multi-variety, but the method is unique and prevents straying from its strategy.
Nor is the issue of evaluation and the treatment of problems that arise in the teaching and learning of writing forgotten, and therefore is analyzed in depth. Only a reflection on its development and the analysis of the results obtained allows us to propose new strategies and improve the instructional process.
This work is, therefore, a theoretical-normative treatise on the special teaching of writing. It tries to ensure that there is no dominance of one approach over the other; rather, it seeks to achieve a balance so that the theoretical suggests the normative and the practice gives rise to the establishment of theoretical hypotheses. We have abandoned the concept of a recipe book and we remain within the sense of teaching as a theoretical and normative science at the same time.
