The mention of attitudes has been a permanent theme in education, but it has rarely been addressed in a systematic way. However, concern about it increases as we see the inadequacy of traditional approaches to achieve the educational objectives that an increasingly demanding society proposes.
But the relevance that the topic of attitudes acquires today not only results from a greater concern for the educational product considered globally, but is also justified when one considers that studies on learning have focused mainly on elements external to the learner (influence of the teacher, the structuring of the content, etc.) and have rarely considered its endogenous aspects (motivation, attitudes, interests, etc.), despite the fact that studies on school attitudes confirm their impact on the cognitive learning of students, as well as the scarce real integration of attitudinal objectives with the general objectives of education.
