CRiEDO collaborates as a member of the organizing committee, including Professor Joaquín Gairín in the Organizing Committee and Professors Diago Castro and David Rodríguez in the Scientific Committee. The director of CRiEDO, Joaquín Gairín will be in charge of the inaugural conference entitled “Educating and managing education in complexity and uncertainty”.
The University of Alcalá (UAH) in Madrid and the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI) organize the XVII Ibero-American Education Meeting (EIDE 2023) with the aim of continuing to offer a scientific, rigorous and committed space for discussion and exchange interdisciplinary, interuniversity and international, with the focus on the Ibero-American geographical and cultural context, responding to the need to continue analyzing the educational reality from a global and collaborative perspective, as requested by all the professional and academic areas of the ‘education.
This is an international and inter-university education event that takes place alternately in Spain, Brazil and several Latin American countries, starting in 2006. During this time, sixteen editions have been held in which they have been incorporated like other universities as headquarters in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Peru, participating, in these years, more than thirty Ibero-American universities and institutions. More than 300 conferences and debate tables have taken place, with more than 2,000 presentations and communications, no less than 10,000 participants have been received in these eighteen years, surpassing even the fateful year 2020 of the pandemic, being the last edition in Santiago de Chile, with the direct participation of the Andrés Bello University (Chile) and the Organization of Ibero-American States.
