XII RedAGE Meeting

On October 15, the XII meeting of the RedAGE (Educational Management Support Network), a non-profit scientific association that aims to:

• Develop a support network for the management of educational centers between Spain and Latin American educational institutions.
• Plan and implement face-to-face and virtual instances of academic exchange, aimed at boosting educational management in Latin America.
• Identify and implement lines of research that are relevant to the Latin American context.
• Promote joint scientific publications, with reference, coordinated by the promoting groups.
• Define instances of face-to-face training (courses, seminars, workshops, etc.) and specific (conferences, training cycles, athenaeums, etc.) aimed at managers of systems and educational centers.
• Coordinate actions between the Organizational Development Group (UAB) and the educational management areas of Latin American universities.
• Establish work criteria that allow starting joint lines of activity, in which other areas of educational management of Latin American universities can be incorporated.
• Promote academic exchange between the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Latin American university institutions that join.

This virtual meeting will allow dealing with various issues of interest to the Network. Initially, the registration of two new institutions (Universidade Municipal de Sâo Caetano do Sulato Brasil and University of Costa Rica-Costa Rica) will be announced. On the other hand, the operational proposals of the working commissions will be reviewed, such as the financial balance for the 2019 financial year, and agreements and commitments will be established for this year 2020. Finally, possible proposals for the 2020 report will be presented and the headquarters of the next General Assembly.
