The extension of the schooling process boosted the creation and development of training institutions and, with it, organizational approaches. The formation and attention to groups of people was an initial problem not yet resolved in its entirety, because it tries to combine the profitability of the actions with attention to the training needs of the people considered individually.
Once organizational proposals linked to the inclusive school have been developed, new actions are proposed to make education a reality for all. In this respect, the current focus of analysis and intervention is centered on normalizing action with respect to vulnerable groups and in the line of social justice.
This symposium aims to promote reflection and the exchange of experiences on organizational philosophy, strategies and practices that can help improve educational care for vulnerable groups. In this respect, it presents four contributions that it hopes will give reasons for learning, controversy and the generation of improvements in the approaches that are currently being applied.
The Symposium will be presented in the framework of the XII CIOIE, which collects the tradition accumulated by the knowledge and effort of so many professors of the DOE Area who have dedicated their teaching and research capacity in the field of educational organizations in the last years.
The different contributions make clear the incipient nature of the problem and the dispersion of initiatives in this regard, trying to help create a theoretical and practical “corpus” on the reality of institutions also organized to accommodate vulnerable groups.
The motto chosen for this edition has been “Emergent answers from the organization of educational institutions”, and aims to be a space in which new approaches can be presented on those dealing with the organization and management of educational institutions, with an open perspective that allows us to rethink the role of educational organizations in the 21st century.
The Congress presents few novelties in its structure, which continues to be supported by plenary conferences (three foreign professors), symposia, (5 x 4 = 20 interventions), communications and posters. It may be necessary to emphasize the sobriety of expenses and the use of the virtual registration modality that will allow reaching a wider audience.
