On 10th of May, the preliminary session to EDO Conference 2016 will take place in CEJFE under the theme “Knowledge and generational change in public administrations”, addressed to managers of public administration institutions, training managers, trainers, and human resources managers from different public administrations. The session will take place in Escola d’Administració Pública de Catalunya (EAPC) from 4 p.m to 6:15 p.m.
The average age of the public émployee evince that a considerable number of them will retire within the following years. This situation raise the need to tackle the way to keep expert knowledge of these people. That means starting solutions in order to properly manage this knowledge before these people, who have achieved it along their professional careers, abandon the organization. The consequences of not acting about it could affect the quality of the services that public administrations provide.
The purpose of this session is to discuss about the need to manage exper knowledge before the generational change in public administrations and to exhibit some experiences to avoid this loss.
