As the title of the thesis indicates, my interest lies in the confluence of personal, professional and social interest reasons, in analyzing gender policies and practices in specific cycles of initial training, an event that becomes central throughout the entire course. work and that involves research serving as a reference for its very articulation between the constituent parts of the study, as well as the objectives that are intended to be developed.
General objective ¢ Analyze gender policies and practices in secondary education centers that teach intermediate and higher education cycles.
Work methodology With the purpose of achieving the stated objectives, a first part is developed defined by the need to determine the conceptual and theoretical framework that is used as a reference to the different stages it comprises, the second part of the research is dedicated to the framework application. The methodology with which the application framework was approached was the case study, of a qualitative and interpretive nature.
According to the methodological option chosen, the sample selected in order to have an initial global vision is carried out considering a set of attributes referring to the types of participants. The methodology of the field work was decided to organize the data collection using semi-structured interviews, surveys and document analysis.
Results of data analysis. Each of the data is presented in relation to the content analysis that was carried out in the interviews, in the surveys and in the analyzes carried out on the documents of each of the centers. In the case of in-depth interviews with teachers and students, a detailed relationship is carried out between the cycles of the same classification with respect to the three dimensions concluded once the data processing has been carried out in the case of the teacher.
