The project aims to boost and promote the development of the Digital Teaching Competition to the grades of Infant and Primary Education. Since the creation of the Degrees of Infant and Primary Education, the Digital Competition has been a transversal competence to the entire degree.

It is important to review the state of the matter in our faculty. Currently, specifically, this area (Educational Technology) is framed in the subject Communication and Educational Interaction II in the first year, in which students have only 3 credits to develop it.

From the participation in both national and regional projects, it has been possible to verify how other universities are making an effort to incorporate the CDD curricula to guarantee a solid learning in this competition.

Specific objectives of the project:

  • To exchange experiences and knowledge about the development of the CDD to the teaching of the Infant and Primary grades among the participating teachers.
  • Collect information on how CDD is being treated in the grades of Infant and Primary.
  • Prepare a proposal for improvement through diverse resources (documents, audiovisual resources …) of the integration of the CDD in the grades of Infant and Primary Education of the Faculty.
  • Disseminate the results of the project to a day of exchange and training with the participation of experts.

From a methodological point of view, the following actions are intended among others:

  1. Exchange meetings between the participating teachers to share meanings around the CDD and how they are promoting their teaching.
  2. Discussion groups (experts, teachers, 4th graders or recent graduates) with the objective of reflecting and sharing meanings about what it is and how the CDD and Questionnaires can be promoted in order to know how the CDD is integrated into the subjects of the Infant and Primary grades.
  3. Final training day with experts.
