Industrial Technical Engineer and Bachelor in Advertising and Public Relations. Conceptual illustrator with a recognized trajectory in the editorial and advertising fields, he has collaborated on international projects and publications, developing a body of work focused on visual metaphor, critical thinking, and symbolic communication.
A secondary education teacher within the Department of Education of the Government of Catalonia, currently on voluntary leave, he has over fifteen years of experience teaching vocational programs in Image and Sound. His pedagogical practice has been oriented towards fostering creativity, visual rhetoric, and reflection on the processes of visual thinking and learning.
He is currently Head of Teaching Innovation and Program Development at the Escola Superior de Disseny (ESDi), a center affiliated with the Universitat Ramon Llull, where he also coordinates the Postgraduate Program in Illustration and Creative Strategies. His academic work focuses on the development of pedagogical methodologies that link creative thinking with the practice of design and conceptual art, promoting critical, open, and interdisciplinary learning environments.
He has been invited as a guest lecturer to present his creative methodology at universities such as Columbia College Chicago, ITESO in Guadalajara, the University of Lima, the University of Palermo in Buenos Aires, Escuela Chavón in Santo Domingo, and Dasein School in Kuala Lumpur, among others.
Throughout his career, he has received several national and international awards, including the Premi Repsol d’Art Efímer, the Premi Nacional d’Il·lustració Junceda in the press category, the Award of Excellence from the Society for News Design (SND), and the SPD 55 Award from the Society of Publication Designers.
