YOUTH Project training

Anna Díaz and Cristina Mercader participate in a training regarding youth centers in Baia Mare (Romania).
From 11th to 22th of June in Baia Mare (Romania), national youth capital, a training is being held regarding youth centers and in the framework of the Youth Project “Creating a framework and developing contents for tomorrow’s youth centers”. The course has the purpose of training professionals in education regarding:
- Volunteer Management and volunteer management process
- Project development and writing
- Organizational Development of youth organizations
- Facilitating social inclusion methods with youth.
This time, Anna Díaz and Cristina Mercader, EDO members, participate in the training course organized by FITT (Fundatia Judeteana pentru Tineret Timis – FITT), which also coordinates Youth Project. The facilitators of the training course are Cosmin Catana (Curba de Cultura), Ana-Maria Gradinariu (FITT) and Vlad Dumitrescu (FDSC). They train 23 participants coming from Spain, Germany, Romania, Finland and Slovenia. The training course finishes with an oral presentation of the needs detected in the area regarding youth centers and specific intervention proposals to improve the situation, in front of various local organizations of Baia Mare.
The project, which aim is to create strategies of organizational development in order to improve the functioning of school centers of non-formal education addressed to youth, it is funded with the framework of the Eramus + program “Strategic partnership for youth” and it is coordinated by the center of Youth of Timisoara (Romania). The partners are: the city council of Timisoara (Romania), the Centre Nuorisokeskus Villa Elba (Finland), the Centre RIS Dvorec Rakican (Slovenia), the Roter Baum Berlin UG (Germany) and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona through the Team of Organizational Development.
