The training day of the PBE TOOLS project took place at the UAB on October 14th

On October 14th, 2019, at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), a training day was held on Evidence-Based Educational Practices, framed within the project “PBE_TOOLS: Educational Practices Based on Scientific Evidence: design and validation of strategies for the improvement of educational centers ”(EDU2017-88711-R). The centers that had participated in the collaborative training workshops during the past year and the students of the University's Doctorate of Education Program were invited.

During the day, the results of the questionnaire on the use of evidence in educational practices, administered during the past year, examples of good practices of the participating centers have been presented, and strategies have been considered that encourage the use of evidences During the day, prof. Chris Brown, a member of the research team, presented a paper entitled: "Strategies in the use of evidence in teaching practices".

The day has been moderated by the professors: Joaquín Gairín and Georgeta Ion (project coordinators) and has had the participation of Professor Anna Diaz and Lorena Pulido team members.

The event was closed with the planning of upcoming project activities, which consist of the development of materials that facilitate educational centers to implement PBE.
