Time in the Forest project meeting

On December 22, a meeting of the project “Time in the Forest. Biodiverse Atlas of Possible Instants”.
The project “Time in the Forest. Biodiverse Atlas of Possible Instants” is one of the projects awarded grants in the ECOTONS research call in collaboration with CREAF-UAB. This interdisciplinary research project between art and science, articulated by Gemma París (CRiEDO) and Rosa Llop, questions the accelerated productive time, contrasting it with the extensive and cyclical experience of time in the landscape, where nothing is urgent or forever. The authors investigate the temporalities in the biodiversity of the Collserola forest, in order to live time in a sustainable, imprecise and connected way. Through drift actions with scientists from CREAF-UAB and artists from La Escocesa, Rosa and Gemma speculate on new ways of distributing time through drawing. Finally, they will make an Atlas of possible temporalities, a field notebook where reality will become inspiration and speculation will be possibility.
