Teachers’ Upgrading

Courses to academics from Universidad de Tarapacá (Chile) keep running during the week of 25th of July.
During the week of 25 to 29 July 2016, several teachers related to EDO group will develop the 4th week of Teachers’ upgrading courses to academics from Universidad de Tarapacá. These courses, developed in UTA seat in Iquique (Chile) are:
1- Subject curricular design, taught by Dr. Primitivo Sánchez (U. Complutense).
2- Using Technology in class, taught by Mr. Josep Maria Silva (UAB).
3- Classroom management and attention to diversity, taught by Dr. Joaquín Gairín.
This upgrading is contextualized in the successful relationship maintained between UTA and EDO-UAB for years. The program of upgrading Chilean academics started in 20115 and will be developed until 2017, it gives continuity to Postgraduate programs in University Teachers’ training and Master’s Degree in University Training and Management that in previous years were developed.
In addition, Dr. Gairin’s visit to Chile has helped to make connections and meetings in order to reinforce the links of collaboration between EDO-UAB, RedAGE and Santillana, being the most appreciable result the yearly edition of “Series Informes” of RedAGE. Also, the visit has contributed to analyse new types of collaboration with DUOC-Chile, entity with which we’ve been working previously through the Educational Observatory.
