CRiEDO is going to participate in a study that seeks to identify the economic and social impact of universities.

Last December a collaboration agreement was signed with the Inter-American Development Bank in order to carry out a comparative study on the economic and social impact that Latin American university institutions have in their local and regional context. With the results obtained, it is intended to establish recommendations that facilitate the transition of universities towards a greater incorporation of technology, the promotion of new lines of research with the use of emerging technologies, as well as the creation and consolidation of parks and / or technology centers that allow a greater link between the public and private sectors.

The project, coordinated by Development Poles (Panama), has the participation of researchers from the University of Deusto, the Sergio Arboleda University (Colombia) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona through CRiEDO.

CRiEDO will participate in this agreement by carrying out follow-up and monitoring activities of the project as a whole, and especially of all those documents that are generated throughout it.
