On May 15, 2024, the UAB signed an agreement with the Liceu to evaluate one of its educational projects. Specifically ‘Del laberint als Somnis‘, which is promoted by LiceuAprèn, the educational program of the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
This is a project that began this season and is being developed with 24 secondary schools that are linked to the Liceu for two academic years. The project is an evolution of a participatory opera project with young people (‘El Monstre al laberint’) that has been carried out for the last four seasons and which has included young people from different institutes (about 900 each season) who do the preparation process of an opera and perform it on the stage of the Liceu.
The responsibility for this agreement is the Centre de Recerca i Estudis pel Desenvolupament Organization (CRiEDO), which is carrying out an external evaluation process and is reflected in the press release published by the Liceu itself:
