Research Stay
Cristina Mercader, EDO-UAB member, ends a three month- visiting as a PhD Student in the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology, University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, Canada.
During the visiting, she has had the opportunity to analyze different training seminars and actions developed in the University of British Columbia to improve the use of ICT in university teaching; as well as exchanging knowledge and experience with experts and other researchers interested in integrating ICT in higher education. These activities were based upon the work supported by the Predoctoral Fellowship Program “Formación de Profesorado Universitario” (FPU), Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, Spain, under the grant for short research stay 2015.
Professor Chris Crowley, senior manager in Learning Design, and supervisor of distance education of UBC, has been the person in charge of tutoring her stay, with the collaboration of Dr. Afsaneh Sharif and Dr. Maja Krzic. .
