RedAGE
EDO-UAB continues to actively participate in the development and consolidation of RedAGE as an entity of education management.
RedAGE, born out of a Project of Inter-University Cooperation (PCI) funded by the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AECID), and initially driven (period 2008 to 2011) by Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain) and Universidad ORT (Uruguay). In 2012, once AECID’s support is finalised, the ned was established as an international association that linked 20 Higher Education Institutions, and it related with other institutions that used their platform in order to disseminate its activities and to promote an exchange of knowledge linked to educational management.
From 2012 the ned has established its foundations and it has consolidated into an Ibero-American level as a space of reference for all professionals and academics interested in Higher Education. With a presence of an 80% in the territory, it currently counts with entities associated in Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Spain, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela.
RedAGE’s activity has allowed an annual publication of reports about the status of educational management, focused in diverse fields, levels and backgrounds, at an Ibero-American level. The last report published, seventh in the collection, made reference to the “Management of research in Education in Ibero-America” and the report number 8th, at this moment in editorial production stage, will focus on ‘The institutional assessment in compulsory education in Ibero-America”.
