Quality in Distance education

Renata Marciniak gives the lecture “Quality in distance education” to UNAM teachers.
Dr. Renata Marciniak, EDO group collaborator, has been invited by the Faculty of Higher Studies Acatlán, of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) to participate remotely as a speaker in the seminar “education innovation with ICT”, to promote the use of ICT in teaching-learning processes in face-to-face and blended environments. Dr. Marciniak has been invited to give the kick-off lecture titled “Quality in Distance education” whose objective is, among other, introducing, to all participants, the elements of quality in distance education, through analysis and development of reliable criteria, with the purpose of improving virtual educational processes.
The seminar is addressed to teachers from any university, from UNAM or others, Mexican or not, from Latin America. The session will be transmitted on May 26th at 4 pm (Mexico local time) in the videoconference room at the Technological Center for Distance Education of the cited Faculty, as well as in the website and video channel associated to the event.
