Georgeta Ion and David Rodríguez participated as EDO-UAB representatives to the ProNET follow-up meeting “Pro Networks: Supporting inter-sectorial networks in the integration of university drop-outs into vocational education and training” that took place in Kielce (Poland) on the 2nd and 3rd of June.

The project, funded by the European Commission with a total Budget of 147.046€ in the framework of Erasmus Plus Program, will be developed between September 2015 and August 2017 and it is coordinated by FBB Forschungs Institut Betribliche Bildung Gemeinnutzige GMBH from Germany. In addition to EDO-UAB, will participate as associate entities Centre Interinstitutionnel de Bilan de Compétences Bourgogne Sud (France), Akademia Przedsiebiorczosci spolka z ograniczona odpowiedzialnoscia (Poland) and Narodni vzdelavaci fond, o.p.s. (Czech Republic).

This project focuses on the identification, European-wide understandable documentation and recognition of learning outcomes of university drop-outs students, which number is increasing. The purpose is that they be able to benefit from a European area of skills and competences, from the creation of a new tool. The partners of the project will develop guides that will allow those who drop-out, to document their qualifications and competencies.

The meeting helped to analyse the activities carried out since November (the kick-off meeting), and, at the same time, to evaluate the phase of every action carried out. Likewiske, during the meeting, the group elaborated a first draft of the platform that will act like a tool to facilitate the identification of the professional abilities and competencies of the youth who have abandoned their studies.
