Joaquín Gairín and Hind Naaman present some results of projects carried out within the framework of EDO.
Professor Joaquín Gairín and doctoral student Hind Naaman have participated today in the presentation of results obtained from research carried out in the field of university dropout in the "SPEET Training Event on Academic Data Management and Exploitation" activity, organized within the framework of the project " SPEET - Student Profile for Enhancing Engineering Tutoring ", at the School of Engineering of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Both have participated in a round table dedicated to the university dropout, where Hind Naaman has presented some of the preliminary results of the work he is developing, and Professor Gairín the results obtained in the framework of projects developed in recent years on this subject, between those that stand out the project Access4all, ORACLE, or APESE.
The aim of the training activity was to show the concepts of data management and analyze the exploitation possibilities of the aforementioned data. For its part, the SPEET project is the result of the need to analyze, through advanced algorithm techniques and different types of tools, the academic data currently available in university departments and faculties.
