On November 18th, 2019, at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), a work session was held with teachers, framed within the competitive project “PBE_TOOLS: Educational Practices Based on Scientific Evidence: Design and validation of strategies for improvement of the educational centers ”(EDU2017-88711-R), coordinated by Georgeta Ion and Joaquín Gairín Sallán. The centers that had participated in the collaborative training workshops held between February and July 2019 were invited.

The day was moderated by Anna Díaz, Georgeta Ion, Patricia Olmos, Cecilia Suarez and Lorena Pulido, members of the project team.

We enter phase 2 of the project: "Capacity development". What will we do from now on? We will initiate a process of three workshops with the purpose of working together researchers, teachers and academic leaders to design, validate and implement strategies and instruments that facilitate the use of evidence-based educational practice.

A space for exchanging opinions, reflections and visions was generated on what kind of materials and tools could be useful for the development of evidence-based educational practices in schools.

Within the framework of the project, participating schools have the possibility to present their experiences of using evidence. We already have a first video, which you can see in our area of ​​“outstanding experiences”.
