On July 4th, 5th and 6th, the XII CIDUI Conference 2023 was held in Campus Cappont, at University of Lleida.
Several members of CRiEDO attended the XII International Conference on University Teaching and Innovation (CIDUI 2023) and contributed with two papers. On the one hand, Cecilia Inés Suárez, David Rodríguez and Joaquín Gairín presented results of project D-EMIND, with the paper entitled “The DIGITAL sphere of the ATOM MODEL: A proposal for the digitalization of challenge-based learning in university teaching”. On the other hand, Anna Díaz, Patricia Olmos, Joaquín Gairín and Carme Armengol presented results of the project INDUCTEACHING, with the paper entitled “The transition towards the teaching profession in primary school: the INDUCTEACHING Model”.
The International Conference on University Teaching and Innovation (CIDUI) is defined as a space for collaboration among Catalan universities, also open to the other Spanish and worldwide universities. The conference is organized by the Catalan public universities. The mission of CIDUI is specified in 6 points:
- To promote experience exchange to improve teaching
- To promote more scientific rigor in the teaching field
- To discuss, at an academic level, about the reality and challenges of universities
- To foster research and innovation
- To enable cooperation among universities in terms of teaching quality
- To promote the internationalization of Catalan public universities
