Partial Coordination Meeting

The partial coordination meeting of the ORACLE project takes place on May 29 and 30 at ESPOL headquarters in Ecuador.
On May 29 and 30 takes place at the headquarters of ESPOL in Guayaquil (Ecuador) the partial coordination meeting of the ORACLE project. The meeting was attended by representatives of UAB (Spain), UNESP (Brazil), Utalca (Chile), UT (Colombia), IPL (Portugal), AAU (Denmark), ESPOL (Nicaragua) and TEC (Costa Rica), should serve for the validation of the Operational Report of the Institutional Equity Offices that will be created in the coming months in the different universities associated with the project.
The Memorandum foresees the purpose that the Institutional Equity Offices should have, and considers the different structures that these can adopt depending on the characteristics of the different participating institutions. Likewise, it will consider the coordination mechanisms necessary for its concretion and institutionalization to be effective in the different institutions.
The ORACLE project aims to be a space for the exchange of experiences, the elaboration of studies and the proposal of lines of action focused on the improvement of inclusion and equity in Latin American higher education institutions. The focus of analysis will be the students, the administration and services staff and the faculty that is part of the analyzed institutions. In its initial phase, the observatory comprises 30 Latin American institutions, and 5 European universities participate as associates. This project lasts 36 months, started in 2016 and will run until 2019.
