Organization of educational centers. Emerging models
Manuel Lorenzo Delgado, Professor at the University of Granada and coordinator of the EDO group of this University, presents his new book, published by La Muralla publishing house.
The book, under the title “Organization of educational centers. Emerging Models” offers an original and unique vision of School Organization, a pedagogical discipline with wide roots in our context. On the epistemological platform of the complex paradigm of Edgar Morín and ecological thinking, an authentic and innovative theory of the educational center as an organization is developed in the first part, to move on to the analysis of the current emerging models that this conception generates based on the dimension of the ecosystem that is emphasized.
These are described, integrated into a coherent whole, models of schooling for our citizens that range from Learning Communities, the street as a school, the home as a school, cyber schools and virtual classrooms, or the school of the Brazilian Landless.
