The ORACLE team meets on April 9, 10 and 11 in the city of Santiago de Chile to analyze the progress and developments of the project.

On days 9th, 10th and 11th, the second coordination meeting of the Regional Observatory for Quality and Higher Education in Latin America project was held. This meeting has held Place in the city of Santiago de Chile, Chile. It has been organized locally by the University of Talca (UTalca), together with the collaboration of the EDO group, of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

ORACLE, funded under the Erasmus + Capacity Building program of the European Commission, is coordinated by professors from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​Joaquín Gairín and Diego Castro, and has the participation of more than 160 researchers, belonging to 35 universities, 30 of which belonged to 15 countries in Latin America, and 5 in Europe.

The meeting has been server to analyze the activities carried out during the first year of the project's development by the portal all the partners of the project, and the server is to lay the foundations for the desenvolupament of activities during the next months. For them, the meeting focused on four key thematic axes: the internal management of the project and quality control, the analysis of the diagnostic reports carried out during the previous months, the design of the MEDYMECU model and the Proposal for the provisional headquarters of the observatory ORACLE, which will open next July in Panama.

Among the most important objectives of ORACLE are the willingness to generate models that allow the evaluation of university quality by linking it to equity in access, the development and success of all levels involved, as well as favoring the organizational development and modernization of the universities of the region.
