O4YEL project symposium
From 14th to 16th December 2021, the XVI International and Interuniversity Congress on the Organization of Educational Institutions (CIOIE 2021) will be held on the Campus of the University of Almería.
Within the framework of the Congress, Joaquín Gairín and Patricia Olmos will coordinate the Symposium entitled "Strategies for the socio-educational inclusion of students at risk of early school leaving", in which the main results achieved from the Orienta4YEL project will be presented. The structure of the Symposium will be:
- Introduction: The challenge of early school leaving in inclusive educational organizations, by Patricia Olmos Roda and Joaquín Gairín Sallán (Autonomous University of Barcelona – UAB).
- Contribution 1: Strategies to deal with early school leaving in educational organizations, by Joaquín Gairín Sallán and Patricia Olmos Roda (Autonomous University of Barcelona – UAB).
- Contribution 2: Fighting the abandonment of studies from the collaboration of educational centers with their environment, by José Luis Muñoz Moreno and Anna Díaz-Vicario (Autonomous University of Barcelona – UAB).
- Contribution 3: Secondary and post-secondary educational centers as key agents in the application of strategies to reduce early school leaving (ESL), by Aleix Barrera-Corominas and Òscar Mas-Torelló (Autonomous University of Barcelona - UAB)
- Contribution 4: A look at the dynamics of intervention for the inclusion of young people at risk of early school leaving: the Portuguese context, by Carla Freire, Catarina Mangas, Sandrina Milhano and Sara Lopes (Polytechnic Institute of Leiria - IPLeiria).
- Contribution 5: University and educational administration: a space for collaboration, creation and transfer of knowledge, by M. José Espí and Carme Sanjuan (Subdirectorate for Innovation and Training of the Department of Education of the Government of Catalonia).
The XVI International and Interuniversity Congress on the Organization of Educational Institutions (CIOIE 2021) maintains the tradition of periodically convening university teachers and researchers, directors and managers, those responsible for educational policies, advisors to organizations, specialists and scholars of aspects related to the organization and management of training institutions of formal and non-formal education.
