Next Meeting of the REDU-CAT Network

On January 29th, from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, a new meeting of the REDU-CAT Network will take place at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

The objective of this session is to continue working on the methodologies for the intervention focus definition phase and the necessary conditions to create a favorable context for evidence-based work. This meeting is a key opportunity for all network members to share knowledge and experiences, and to advance in the implementation of evidence-based educational practices.

REDU-CAT is an innovative project that aims to design and validate a methodological model for the use of research evidence in educational centers in Catalonia. Based on successful experiences both at the Catalan and international levels, the project involves collaboration with teachers, management teams, researchers, and other key stakeholders. The main objectives of REDU-CAT are:

  • Developing the research capacity of the involved agents.
  • Supporting educational centers in the use of the model.
  • Leveraging professional networks to support evidence-based improvement processes.

REDU-CAT also aims to create a Network of Educational Centers Informed by Research Evidence, design and implement the REDU-CAT Model within this network, and develop guidelines for its expansion in the Catalan educational and research system.
