New O4VET follow-up meeting

On December 4th, a new online follow-up meeting of the European project O4VET took place with all team members.

All members of the Orienta4VET project team were called to this meeting, coordinated by Patricia Olmos, and integrated by other members of CRiEDO-UAB and faculty from thePolytechnic Institute of Leiria (Portugal), the Universitaet Bremen (Germany), the Universitatea din Bucuresti (Romania) and the Aarhus Universitet (Denmark). This meeting of the project partners served to follow up on the first two products developed, adjust the work schedule and plan the development of the third product that will be carried out at the UAB in June 2024.

The project “Orienta4VET – VET: an attractive and viable pathway. Innovating in VET through guidance processes and exploring flexible and diversified opportunities in VET”, funded under the Erasmus + program and coordinated by Patricia Olmos, has as its main objective to improve access to Vocational Training (FP), as well as contribute to improving the permanence of students with more difficulties. The 4 operational objectives of the project are:

  1. Make FP visible in each of the contexts, identifying and analyzing its main problems and their impact.
  2. Identify the main barriers of FP in the territories and analyze their impact, taking as reference indicators the personal, educational/formative, business and/or productive development of the territory, socio-labor or socio-professional.
  3. Explore the potentiality and viability of alternative routes that facilitate the diversification and flexibility of access opportunities to FP (or the educational/formative re-entry through professional itineraries).
  4. Implement appropriate guidance and tutorial action strategies in FP itineraries and analyze their impact.
